Terms of Service

These terms govern any subscription plan, consultation, or service you purchase from Search Box Strategies (“we,” “us,” “our”). By subscribing to a plan or engaging us for services, you agree to these terms.

Subscription plans

Our website plans (Foundation, Growth, Scale) are billed monthly on an initial 12-month term, then continue month-to-month unless cancelled. Where listed, a setup fee is charged upfront and waived only if you commit to the 12-month term.

Hosting and site ownership

Websites built under a subscription plan are hosted on our managed infrastructure for as long as your subscription is active. This is what allows us to bundle hosting, security updates, and ongoing edits into a single flat monthly rate rather than billing separately for each. If your subscription is cancelled or lapses, your site is taken offline 30 days after the end of your billing period, following written notice to the email on file.

Cancellation

After your initial term, you may cancel at any time by providing at least 30 days' written notice to support@searchboxstrategies.com. Cancelling before the end of an initial 12-month term does not entitle you to a refund of any waived setup fee or prior payments.

Payment

Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for providing accurate business information, timely feedback on drafts and edit requests, and ensuring any content or assets you provide us don't infringe on a third party's rights.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your brand, business content, and any assets you provide us. We retain ownership of the underlying code, design system, and infrastructure we build and maintain your site on, licensed to you for use for as long as your subscription is active.

AI voice assistant

The AI-powered voice assistant is provided as a conversational tool to answer general questions and assist with scheduling. It is not a substitute for professional advice, and responses should be verified for anything business-critical.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Search Box Strategies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada.
